We are a nonprofit organization

We could not exist if it wasn't for those that have generously donated to our organization.

We are especially thankful to those charitable organizations that helped us to build our boathouse in 2013 and install electricity in 2014. Without your kind support, our boats would be without cover and protection this extremely cold winter!  Our goal is to continue to work with the local community to provide an active option to enjoy our natural resource, Sandusky Bay.

We also have many members who donate their time and talent to help fund raise to help support SBRA.

  • Our biggest need is to acquire a dock! Can be very challenging to get into our boats standing in 4 feet of water.
  • A handy-person that is good with a saw is needed to repurpose a shell  making rowing stations for the purpose of teaching fundamental rowing techniques.
  • We could also use a wet/dry shop vacuum to keep our boats clean.

$2,500 grant money from

The Dorn Foundation

Sandusky Bay Rowing Association

Thank you!!!

This year we learned that our only 4 person boat was beyond repair! This limited our ability to get more rowers on the bay.

After a "S.O.S." plea for help, we were very fortunate to receive generous donations of a 4 person & 8 person boats from

Cleveland Youth Rowing Association!!

It just goes to show you that rowing is all about working together with our fellow rowers.

A special thanks to Kristen Wagner our head coach for reaching out to our rowing neighbors; to Matt Previtts, Anne Hribar for voting to "pay it forward" and donating the shells, and to Cory Conzemius for assisting with the delivery,
